I plan to have Pole Vault Power Goody bags available again in Reno this year.

I plan to have 30 bags for the first 30 people I see who are wearing a Pole Vault Power t-shirt.

Last year's bags included great donations such as t-shirts, DVDs, jackets, candy, and more! I expect this year's bags to be even bigger and better than ever.

More details to come.

OK here is the TENTATIVE plan.

I will post my room number here on Wednesday as soon as I know it.

On Friday, the general meeting is at 9am. Vaulters wearing PV Power shirts can meet me at my room between 7:30 and 8:30 to choose goody bags.

Please wear your shirts the rest of the day!!

If there are any goody bags left I will try to take some with me and give them to people I see with the shirts on who did not pick up a bag already.

You can wear either design. If you preorder a shirt, you can pick it up at that time, along with your goody bag, as long as you wear the shirt to the meeting.


This is tentative, in case I end up needing to be somewhere or something. Stay posted here for details!

If anyone has prizes or flyers they want to stuff in the bags (and has not communicated with me yet about it) let me know and we will meet up in Reno. I have several commitments already, but the bags this year are bigger than last year, so there is plenty of room. You can promote a camp or meet, for example.

OK I am all checked in to my room. The downside is I am on some protected floor (you have to have a room key to access it). I guess they heard I was a really big deal and wanted to protect me haha.

Anyway, my tentative plan is to have Jessie and Brian there to escort people from the lobby level to my room every 15 minutes or so.

So if you want a goody bag (and they are going to be REALLY good, I have a lot of swag coming):
- Be at the West Tower elevators between 7:30 and 8:20 am Friday morning
- Wear your Pole Vault Power shirt (and continue to wear it throughout the day)
- Be prepared to get some really awesome prizes.

Jessie and Brian will be on hand to sign autographs and sell calendars.

If there are any leftover, I will try to have them on hand to give out to people wearing the shirt, but there are only 30 bags and I think they will be gone fast.
