Hey Guys and Gals. I LOVE jumping Friday night because;
1) the excitement of elites jumping is contagious
2) we finish in time to see elites
3) we're on the field with the elites while they are jumping
4) I don't mind officiating and coaching all day Saturday if I'm done Friday night.
5) Too hard both physically and mentally to jump on Saturday night. See #4.
How do you guys feel about it? If you liked it (or didn't), please send Steve Chappel an email at ucsspirit@pyramid.net and let him know. In fact, let them know how much you appreciate their efforts anyway. Take care. Bubba

I think the masters (and emerging elite) will probably start a little earlier next year so that you guys are done before the top elite groups.
I think the odds are good that you remain on Friday night, as they are running out of time slots for Saturday.
I thought it was great having a masters women's competition.

I'm with you Bubba. For the most part I enjoyed jumping on Friday. It would be nice if we were done in time to see more of the elite competitions. Also, I hope they find a different place for the band. They were right next to our runway and although they didn't play when the elites were jumping, they played when we jumped and it was too loud because of the closeness.

They weren't originally supposed to be playing when anyone was actually competing, so I don't think that will be a major issue in the future.

I agree totally with Bubba.
Vaulting Friday night was the BEST!!!
I did volunteer and help ALL DAY Saturday from my assigned pit at 8:00 AM to who ever need help. Each pit needed help-only two people were not enough to run an efficient vault event and every pit I helped at stayed on time, and I had a great time.
See you all next year!
