Summit Schedule/Flights
I know the schedule has not been posted for Reno yet, but is there a general rule for best times to arrive/depart Reno? Does 'stuff' start early Friday morning, or is is later on? I assume arriving Tursday night and leaving Sunday morning is best, but I'm just looking at flight info and am trying to figure out what works. With Thursday being New Years Day, it gets expensive. Any advice as to times/airlines/etc. I'm leaving out of Chicago, and flights look pretty expensive! *I'm not bringing any poles too* Thanks.

Fight the good fight: It's nice to be great but it's far greater to be nice.

Re: Summit Schedule/Flights
Fly in anytime Thursday and leave anytime Sunday. The action starts at 9am or so Friday and there is no way of knowing when you will compete Saturday (the competitions in the past have occasionally run past midnight).
If you are not taking poles, any airline that flies into Reno is fine. Some people fly into other airports and rent a car, but the weather can be sketchy and this is a little risky.
I am flying in Wednesday. New Year's Eve in Reno, woo hoo!
