Flying to Reno...

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Thu Jan 20, 2005 12:07 am

Well after weeks of stressing, I made it here safely. I flew America West out of St Louis and had NO problems. Kris flew America West out of Austin and had NO problems. Russ and Dana flew America West out of Houston, and their poles missed the flight but came in on my later flight.

It was free for all of us...

Nick Hysong (who has flown America West for the past 15 years with NO problems) flew out of Phoenix ran into the exact same problem I had last year with Southwest. They tried to charge him per pole. He eventually talked his way out of it, but the guy was a real jerk.

The thing is America West's policy actually says one pole per container... but everybody has been flying them without trouble for the most part.

I don't know what to tell everyone flying on them tomorrow. Good luck?

In other Reno air travel news, the fog is something fierce here and they have been having trouble landing flights.
