Pole choice for height

Unread postby Jungm1420 » Sun May 06, 2012 10:06 pm

Ok. So i am currently using a 13'3" 155 carbon pole with a flex of about 17cm. I have cleared 12'6 using it on my first try at districts. I got nowhere near clearing my 3 attempts at 13'. I only weigh 130-135. And on my 13' attempts my take off was also under on my 3 13' attempts so i blew through and the pole never gave me the chance to invert. My normal take off is at 10'. So i thought about just marking 10'3 and saying that should be my take off. Which it prolly should just 10' is better than 9' where it was. But could i get 13' using this pole or would it be a good idea to try out a 14' 140 pole we have? If i can still make the mats just fine i think it would help to use. It would be 5 lbs stiffer than the one i am using but my standards r about 24 so i still have some room. Should i try the 14' 140 pole this week and c if i could use it or not even mess with it?
