Controlled pole lowering is the correct term. ( See PV Students description in advanced threads."pole drop"). There is no need to imply an incorrect term "drop" or one arm drills and not correctly explain the true benefits of a flexible pole. Words have power and can make rhe process confusing when the wrong term is used.
