Right now i am between poles. I am on a 14' 160lb catapole, but blowing through it. I cant quite get on a brand new 14' 165lb skypole. I just found a pole that my school owns that is a 15' 145ib pacer III. Should i consider this as a pole to vault on? I dont know if i would penetrate b/c the longest pole i have been on is a 14' pole.

Keep working on your takeoff until you can get on the 14'165.

The 15-145 is about the same stiffness as the 14-165 when gripped at the same height. It will be easier and better to go with the 14-165. The 15 footer will be harder to get a good top on your jump.

:) I've got a height of 11' last year and didn't really bend my pole and I've just learned to bend the pole for real and I started on a 13' 6" 165 pole which worked out good and I weigh 150 so I went to a 150 14' and it works just as good b/c I get in good on my plant and so on so it just depends on your plant and if everything is working out good with that
