those are some good vaults bro! looks like you have alot of talent , im not much of expert at all but it looks to me like you have a great plant and swing but it seems like your taking to much time to quarter around your pole. as the pole starts to unbend your still inverted when you should start to quarter. Thats all i can see besides alot of talent where do you live?

Well i'm definately not a coach... but the thing that i noticed was your turn up top could be a little better, it's almost as if you're starting to turn too late.. but that's pretty much the main thing that i noticed
but great job!! - i wish i could vault that well
& hey if you wouldn't mind... check out my videos and let me know what i need to imrove on (i know there's a lot)

where is your grip on that pole? It looks to me like you might be over-gripping quite a bit. Your take off is excellent to get you through on such a long pole, but i think you would benefit in the long run (no pun intended) to grip down 3 inches or so to allow more push, which you will need when you get on stiffer poles. Correct me if im wrong, but it looks like from the videos that your 15'6 jump was a little under, and your 16' jump was a perfect take off. I actually think you went through on your 16' a little. Try and hit that nice free-take off more consistently, and you could move up a pole.
All in all, great jumps and i could see a lot of improvement real soon!

hmm for some reason it looks like you are gripping higher. So you are gripping 14'4 on a 15.9, im guessing thats a 14'6" essx pole? Thats actually better than i thought, the video seems like you are gripping 15' or so, my bad! You are at the exact stage i am in vaulting lol. i cleared 15'6 barely, gripping 14'2 on a 15' scale 18.8cm altius (175). However you hit that take off much better than i do!! Good luck later in the season and keep us posted, later!

I would just remind you that you want to relax a little while you run; as your upper body is really tight!!! It will help you run fast

widen your grip a little that narrow grip is making you strain to keep the pole tip up. Widen a little not alot and that you allow you to relax you shoulders a little and allow the pole to drop easier.

Looking backwards is not what gives you a greater pull.
When you see people throwing that head back, thats a result of straightening out their body as much as possible for a big pull. Its not an influence! If you want to focus on a bigger push, focus first on finishing your swing as fast as you can, and staying in line with the pole as tight as you can, no leaks in your energy!
