practice video with my new camera

Unread postby Polevaulter2012 » Fri Apr 01, 2011 12:15 am

Hey guys so I decided to vault to day at the last minute. If you skip to 3:06 you can see them. These are my first vaults in two months. I am going from a 3 step on a 14' pole.

I noticed you wear gloves when you do your rope drills, what kind of gloves are they?

Yeah I do. My rope is so thin that I where them as a safety precaution to just allow a little bit more grip. I dont know where I set them. haha I want to say they are Altius gloves. They have a rubber material on the fingers and palm. I will find them and let you know.

Ah, sweet thanks. I have a rope at home and gives me the same problem.

They are Atlas Nitrile tough 370 BBk L. They are awesome! I highly recommend them.

I want to thank everyone who has watched and commented on my videos. It means a lot. I have been training alone for 6 months now and its nice to be able to talk to fellow vaulters on here. Well here is the new practice video. My speed is not there but I am doing some good things. I have a lot to fix but it will come. http://scottelliottachievingmydreams.blogspot.com/
