Well lets see, I may have some data to share on that one....
Bob Richards at approximalty 15'5 in the mid 50's, and his son Brandon at 18'3 in approximalty 1983, and his other son tommy at 16'6 in 1986.
Or how about, Ron Morris 16'6 (approx 1965) and his son Brooks 17'4" 15' in HS, and Ron's brother who is still jumping, in his mid 50's in the 14' plus range.
Or me and my brother: Tim Johnson 16'7 Nat HS record indoors in 1974, later 17'4" @SIU-carbondale, My Son Clay 15'6" this summer going into senior year in HS, my daughter 13'6 in HS in 2002, and 13'11" at UCLA this year, and my self 18'4"
Mark Rose 17'4 at LSU in the early '80's, and his son will also be two to watch for. His son is jumping around 11' or so as a frosh in HS.

My dad jumped 15'6" in high school back in 1977 and I have a PR of 5.81 or 19'1"!! My younger brother has a pr of 15', my sister is a new freshmen in High school and she has a pr of 10'8" with a javelin throw of 129', and my 6 year old brother has a pr of 3 feet!!!!!!!!
I can't leave out my NEW WIFE!!! Dana Ellis has a pr of 14'1 1/2 for canada!!!!!
