Hey...if it works, it works...xD

At my house, we used to have an old station wagon [aka the Wally Wagon, as my parents called it...apparently, it looked like the Wally Wagon in the TV show.] and a Malibu...and the station wagon, 20 yrs old, broke down less than my mom's Malibu, which was newer. The Wally Wagon is no longer existent :'( but now we've got an '89 Ford Ranger, with a "custom paint job", aka: Roofing Paint [doesn't rust].

but I think the upper lip dips were easier to keep from swallowing. Or maybe it was the other way around. It probably just depends on how much you get inverted.

LOL, You beat me to that one. I was going to say - if you have ever painted your van your school colors with house paint.

:P haha.

If you take off the top cover/pad on the mat to try to shake all the dirt/loose pit dust out and then realize that the sections are covered in what looks like Kraft E-Z Mac powder...and to get it off, when you can't find a broom, every kid on the team tears off a branch from the nearby pine tree and uses that. [It works!]

If you get splinters from the poles your school has for you to use.

You might be a Red Neck pole vaulter if you blame your last no height on your house arrest ankle bracelet.

[quote="pvdad81"]You might be a GULF COAST redneck pole vaulter if,

You can't wait till hurricane season because of the awesome tailwinds.

You don't let an inch of water on the runway keep you from vaulting.

You have to travel to other states to pole vault "indoors".

Yes, yes, yes and if you've ever used cut beer cans for a pole protector, yes.
good ole southern vaultin...

If someone sees a picture of you jumping into a sawdust pit in Guetemala and says it's "Just a classic snapshot illustrating a moment of americana." That could qualify you as the ultimate Redneck Pole Vaulter, Tim! :P
