Big Time Practice

Unread postby smokinvaulter1 » Thu Feb 26, 2004 9:58 pm

The warm weather today let me get out my boards and do some jumping while I helped out some local community college vaulters. I got pretty pumped up and decided to show off a little bit and throw up a 18' cross bar and shoot for it, well after I cleared 18' and the guys are all yelling and hollaring it got the attention of the rest of the track team and they jived me into trying to jump higher so I throw a bar up at 5.60 and made it on my 4th attempt. That is a huge practice PR for me. Can't wait for outdoors to start. That run way was smokin fast and i was on my biggest 5m pole. That runways for sale to if anyone wants it. Anyone else have a good practice?
