So what is his final line?
"You're welcome. I'm the best."
"You're welcome. All the best."

Oh my god! That is so funny. I was just having that conversation with my mom about what Bubka said. I replayed that line about 10 times to see which one it was, and finally heard that it was "All the best" But at first I totally thought it was "I'm the best"!!!! Talking about obsessed!

when you notice that even after 10 years of not offically vaulting that you raise your right leg higher or farther when you walk because you used to jump off your left leg and drive your right knee in pole vaulting. ha ha, I just noticed this the other day after reading this thread too.

Who would argue with him if he said I'm the best?

No one would argue with that -- I guess -- but it sounds very arrogant if someone were to say that.

when working at a homeless shelter you take a pvc pipe and start to try and do takeoffs with it.

You know your obsessed with pole vaulting when, you have more work out clothes than regular clothes and when you wear your running shoes, and your vault shirt when you go out.
