we nickname a bunch of our poles...some for no reason, some for dramatic effect ;)

"Jenney" (Pronounced line forrest gump: jen-naay!)
15'6" 160 UCS
Dont know where this name came from...but its fun to say!

"Money"
15'6" 165 Carbon
posted big PRs for 2 of our vaulters

"Fabulous"
15'6" 165 Carbon
next in line after Money...wrapped in the new silver tape on the carbon FXs

"Tis Black"
16' 190 Carbon
Wrapped in the back tape before Gill saved the black poles for the pros

"Black Monster"
16' 195 Carbon
Also wrapped in black...next in line after Tis Black

"Tis FAT!"
15'6" 200 UCS
A beastly-fat 15'6. it's basically a tree.

"White Whale"
16' 195 16.0 UCS
Well...because it's huge and white i guess...

"White Monster"
16' 200 15.5 UCS
A monstrous UCS pole...

We had nicknames in highschool. mainly because we didn't have a "true" series of poles. Here are the ones I used:

"Ol' Yeller": 14' 170 Yellow Catapole. was also called "sweet butter" (pronounced Butta) because it was my bread and butter pole for 3 years.
"Captain America": 14'9 165 Red white and blue Altius.
"Sting": 13'6" 165 yellow and black spiral rocket. Looked like a yellow jacket.
Whether you believe you can or cannot, you're right.

We call or old altius pole captain America because of the red and blue. And we have an old Skype with a guy holding a lightning bolt so we call that Hercules. We just bought two new 14'6" 145 and 150 so we call those the twins.

We have a pole at my college we call "The Nutcracker", the name speaks for itself...
14' 155 UCS
Personally it's a pole I enjoy jumping on. It's soft and easy to jump on.
You only get as much as what you work for.
