catapole is a brand that has been around for many years. if yu see and old looking yellow poles those are one of the first catapoles made, there were also black or dark green i think. they are good trainging poles, not really for competition.

Sorry, but the yellow, black, or even green Cata-Poles (if they are still in good condition) are EXCELLENT competition poles. Many championships, medals, and records have been achieved with those poles. They may be heavy to carry, but they function great.

Cheap YES
but we have improved the catapoles with our technology. We use "E" glass on the construction and they are in 10 lbs increments now so not as fined tuned as other poles. A great value that will perform.
Yes we make them XLOGIC just do not use the "S" glass we do on our ESSX poles.

ok, i still don't quite get it. they are a good poles for your money, but not the best right. now essex poles are better , however, they are made from the same company? on the x-logic site i only saw essex poles on sale. i've never heard of this brand before though, but they look pretty good.
JUst like...

JUst like MY stick, Sky-pole, and Pacer they all are of differrent values and types of glass used.
The same is with Catapole a good value at the price however for just a little bit more you can get a better pole ESSX and all its engineering, oh and a pvc tube for shipping
go to
our web site see what you get for your money. A solid real vaulting pole not a rod of glass, a pole that is of excellant quality and balance.
Measured in 2.2 lbs incriments no other pole offers this accuracy.
http://www.xlogicsports.com see our ads in the sales forum save money on two ESSX poles.
