Runway and Landing Pad

Unread postby brownco9 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 10:47 am

In the fall we had a crew come in and pour a concrete landing pad for our pits to sit on. While they were clearing the surround area they took a chunk of the runway in front of the box and poured concrete in place of the asphalt runway. It is 2 to 3 feet in front of the box. Is this still considered legal? I'll try to get a picture but right now it's under a foot of snow.

It is legal, but not recommended.
