Poles and Water...

If your pole gets wet with water, will the water ruin the pole or warp it in any way? Thanks.

I have had poles in the pool before, and i have never had any problems with them afterword. But I can't be positive that it won't hurt the poles.

No.
I mean I wouldn't recommend storing your poles in a swimming pool or something, but you don't need to worry if they get wet in the rain or anything. Just dry them off before you store them in the tube or whatever.
Your grip tape will get moldy if it stays wet too long. I went on vacation and my poles sat for 2 weeks. I don't know how water got in my tube, but the tops of my poles have moldy tape. It's wonderful and spotty haha.
