What size pole?

My son is a high school sophomore, and his school doesn't have a pole for him. He is 5'9" and 145 lbs. and currently has a PR of 10'. He's going to an indoor facility and is working hard on technique and raising his PR. Is there a "perfect" size pole for him (is it based on his height/weight?) or on his ability level? His coach is now calling all area high schools to see if we can borrow a pole for him because they're too cheap to buy one for him. He's using a practice pole 135 and the only pole they have for him is 150 and 14 ft long. If anyone experienced vaulter has information, I'd appreciate it - I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
