Rick Baggetts DVD's coming to all the schools

Unread postby baggettpv » Fri Mar 02, 2012 1:48 am

Track coaches,
BE aware that next week we will be sending out"Groundwork" and "Airwork" DVD's to the schools in Oregon for free. We hope that they will help everyone with their knowledge of the Pole Vault. They have been reviewed highly by many coaches. Check out the sponsors that made this available in the packets.

Thanks,

Rick Baggett

That is very generous of you and your sponsors, Rick. The videos are great, and will be a valuable resource for coaches and athletes in Oregon.

I didn't have a PV coach when I was in HS, but I had a couple of old videos that I watched over and over, that really helped me learn what I was trying to do. There was an old video analysis of Tom Hintnaus, and another with Bill Falk and Mark Strawderman. And the most fun to watch were the Skyjumpers videos by Jan Johnson! However, none of these videos showed how to take youth athletes and turn them into champions the way your videos and Alan's do. Congratulations on taking a big step in NW PV development.

Now if only we can get some good weather...there's 6 inches of snow on our track

Tom

When we get our copy, do we have permission to copy it for the students to review? What a great tool.

Great think you are doing with giving your DVD out to the schools. I did see on one of your dvd a pully system that raised and lowered the bungee, is this something you made? If so, would you share now. If you can buy it where? Thanks, Randy

Thanks guys. Copy all you want just use them! My goal is to see all the kids learning the basics with the only difference being the skill level of the kids!
