Nc state indoor championships

Unread postby jaxvaulter » Thu Jan 05, 2006 9:08 am

Does anybody know anthing about who would win the NC indoor state meet? Right now, I'm thinking it will be Ryan Twiford from Clayton, but there is a kid from Jacksonville moving up quickly, jumping 13' early this season.

Look for Watauga to make a big splash in the mens and womens vault. Macey Ruble has jumped 13 in early dec. and is consistantly over 13'6" 14' in practice from 5 lefts. For the girls Sallie Gurganus will win in record setting form. She has been jumping over 12 feet from 4 lefts for over a month. and two other girls over 10

Anthony Smith from Jacksonville really showed up at the Eastern High School Challenge, jumping 13' and placing 3rd, which beat Macey Ruble. He would have kept going if he hadn't snapped his pole.

The kid from jacksonville loooked good I dont think he would have gone high if hadn't broken his pole. I was glad to see him get right back on a pole. By the way macey jump 13 this past weekend at Clemson. Should have gone higher. The State meet should be pretty good.
