chuck norris once punched a woman in her vagina because she didn't have excact change.

That's a little uncalled for. You could have found a less offensive example to share with other people.

I read that there isn't any truth to the "twins skip a generation" thing...so maybe you won't have to worry! I hope you are feeling good (I know you will be getting tired and all)...I have a book I want to lend you that helped me a LOT during pregnancy, so I'll keep it in my car and hopefully I'll s...

How strange to see a news photo of Isinbayeva with a bar coming down.

She's right, it must be incredibly stressful to be under pressure to break a WR every time she jumps, no matter how easy she's been making it look!

Wow, I guess I didn't realize that Dragila's PR is still pretty damn high on that list.

I think it will be really interesting to see what develops over the next few years and what the true benchmarks for the women's vault will be.

Oh i have to second the excellent officiating. It's not every day you see a girl run halfway down the runway and have the offical yell at her to stop because her "time is up". Also the men's officials were very efficient at putting up the bar...only took them 3-4 minutes each time!!

I do the same thing over the summers...just keep it to 5 miles or less a session and just put in a couple speed or plyo workouts once and a while.

Nothing wrong with extra cardio!

If you were doing 100mpw THEN you'd have something to worry about...

I agree that rituals can be damaging...I think routines are a good idea, though...they can help you stay focused at big meets, etc. But there is a lot to be said for being able to perform well without all the "trappings"....ie being able to shrug it off if you don't get your whole warm-up in, forget...
