Re: Raised Runway Contractor Wanted
I understand your liability issue, but just because they are a licensed contractor with liability insurance doesn't mean they will build you a quality runway. Would a contractor even understand how to brace the plant box? If they use nails, which most probably would, kiss that runway good by pretty ...

What Will Be of The Jersey Jumps Beach Vault in 2013?
Hurricane Sandy absolutely annihilated the Jersey Shore. Check out the shot of Seaside Heights, the exact spot where the Jersey Jumps Beach Vault happens each year. Seems fake, but it's not.

Re: Two Sided Pole Vault Pit
Wow! This is exactly what I need for my club's UCS 1900 pit. I just moved it to my house and got UCS to make me a custom weather cover that "bridges" the gap that your plug is filling. Why? Can't believe no one else has ever complained, but I brought it up to UCS when I ask for the custom ...

VaultPurple,
Beyond jealous. Do you have a mat filling the "gap" between the front buns of the side without the standards? Is that the purple color I see in the pic there?

Re: appendix to does the russian model represent ideal tech.
Training encompasses everything involved with learning the model. Exactly! "Learning" the model. The "model" is pre-defined I'm not sure how else to clearly state it. I never said the "tuck and shoot" doesn't apply physics, but the answer you get when using the "t...

Re: appendix to does the russian model represent ideal tech.
I have read on here that Bubka himself said he didn't have his great success because he was a better athlete then most ( I think he was just being humble) so my question is does anyone have a list of other vaulters that trained under Petrov and how high they jumped? not just 1 big bar but consisten...

Re: The location of the take off point in fiberglass pole vaulti
What I saying is not everyone should be preached to have a 1' outside takeoff. I have heard of coaches trying to get everyone to jump from a foot out. That is taking it to the extreme. If you don't have athleticism to handle that kind of impulse and maintain velocity coming off the ground than its ...

The only individuality is your limitation in creating and using energy. The ideal model for creating and using energy, based on human biomechanics, is always the same.

Re: The location of the take off point in fiberglass pole vaulti
But because of fiber glass and the ability to "shorten the radius" allowing a higher grip 1000's of vaulters are very successful… but the down side is they will never reach full potential by not "working" with physics… Bingo! Perfectly said DJ! Physics, Physics, Physics. Why so ...
