Shipping from the US to the UK has got to be quite expensive... probably enough to offset the savings from a used pole Have you checked with any of the dealers in the UK to see if they have what you want in stock?

It costs over $100 to ship one pole within the US. I have no idea how much shipping is overseas, but honestly, I doubt any US individual could even find a company to ship it, and if they can, it is probably $500+. If you order from a supplier, they can order other poles at the same time and reduce the shipping expenses for you.
