WTB Gymnastic Rings

DOes anyone have gymnastic rings for sale or know where i can get some? Any info is greatly appreciated

you might be able to get some cheap plastic ones used on those jungle gym things at Toys "R" us.

Home Depot or Lowes has some made of alum. Build them up in size with foam rubber and tape.

Take a piece of 1 inch diameter steel pipe about 7 inches long. Buy a 3/8 inch diameter bolt about 8 inches long, 2 washers and a hex nut. Buy a piece of medium chain about 12 inches long big enough so that the bolt will slip thru the links. First, put a washer on the bolt, Second, then put the bolt thru the first link of the cahin and then thru the pipe, then push the bolt thru the last link of the chain. Attach the 2nd washer and tighten the hex nut. The pipe will serve as the rings handle and the chain will become the rind it self. suspend this "ring" from a length chain that is bolted to a rafter or a swing set. We wrap the pipe handle with athletic taps to provide a good grip. Double this setup to have 2 "rings". This setup shouldn't cost you more that $35.00 for the whole setup and should last forever. Just be sure to have the chain supported from a good object and test well before getting upside down on this equipment !!!!!!!!!!!, we don't want anyone to get hurt.

I know a guy, who knows a guy (you know how that goes, but this one's legit) can make them out of stainless. I don't know the cost but if you would like me to check I will. Then you go to a tack shop (horse stuff) and get the strap and then attach that to your cross beam with cable and turnbuckles. Later...................Mike
Think about this. Plastic breaks, and you'll be hanging upside down 50% of the time.
Wood wears out and breaks, and you'll be hanging upside down 50% of the time......you'll be off the ground far enough to where it is really gonna hurt if you bounce.
Steel rusts, and you'll...........you know the rest
Stainless is the way to go especially if you are putting up a long term apparatus.

I don't think that you would have to worry about wodden gymnastic rings breaking, but they would probably cost you a couple of bucks.
