This was different, after three cleared 5.46 they went to 5.56. On Bobby Most's 2nd attempt he was way over it but hit it with his chest coming down. The wind was screaming and the bar came off. Nobody even looked but the official gave a white flag. When Bobby got up for his third attempt he was told he allready had a make at 5.56. After the two others missed the officials asked what he wanted next. Bobby and Coach Hood told the officials they had made a mistake and he had not cleared 56 yet. After some discusion they changed the make to a miss and he took his final attempt at 56, failing to clear it, and the Air Force vaulter won on misses. Class act, I thought.

nebraska has Nic Petersen who redshirted outdoors PR of 16'7, and mcfarlin hasnt gone anywhere near 17 and he NHed at every major comp including indoor and outdoor big 12's , Nebraska will have to strongest program in the big 12 once again even losing Eshbach and Teeple

Easy big fella. First of all McFarlin has jumped 5.20m (and made it look pretty easy) last year. Secondly, Texas Tech is returning 3 18'ers next year and OU returns 4 over 17'3". Coach Attig is doing a great job, but I don't think Nebraska can claim any sort of dominance in the men just yet.

Brandon has just been adjusting his freshman year. With notable exceptions, a lot of freshman don't jump their pr's their freshman year b/c of the whole coaching change, college lifestyle, and workout load transition, but typically come back stronger their sophomore year. I think Brandon will jump high next season.
