For Big East I would have to say that Mary Saxer will probably take the cake for first, but she is still a freshman and there could be a possibility that she could choke, not saying she will, and ranked under her is a senior from Pittsburg and she's probably more consistant, but I still put my chips on Mary for women's vault

I am already in Akron...it is cold and getting colder.....as far as conference prediction....Keith Higham will enter the competition after all the other vaulter are out...that is unless our friend Jake Radzevich has a big day.....I also think that 3 through 8 is gonna be tight and misses will be a big deal

Holy crap! Marissa Dudek of the University of Pittsburgh really put on a show, PRing something like two or three times on her way to her win at 13'6" or 13'7". Mary Saxer was rolling a long strongly until her thigh got whacked by the pole during a bail out. Jacey Hughes showed she's pretty much back from a injured hamstring to take third at 13'0" (same as Saxer). Jacey's Dad, Denny, is really cool. My friend, Laura Huarte, took fourth at 12'4"
I didn't freeze my a** off after all. I managed to show up when the sun was out.
Both flights from and to Atlanta were late, making for a long day. I leave Atlanta for home in CA tomorrow morning.
