[list]Although neither of the Nebraska track and field teams won a conference championship over the weekend, one group of Cornhuskers dominated their event.
The NU men and women’s pole vault teams shined. The women took the first three spots with sophomore Jenny Green leading the way, capturing her third Big 12 Conference title.
Seniors Jenna Blubaugh and Jessica Graff finished second and third, picking up eight and six points, respectively.

Pole Vaulters Dominate At Big 12 Championship
I just posted about the Ray thing and I just also have to post about Jenny Green and her teammates. We got to visit with Jenny after her victory and I have to think she represents what's great about Nebraska track and those vaulters especially. Jenny is a wonderful ambassador to that institution and team. Jenny herself is an inspiration. Hated to lose all those points at the pv pit to Nebraska, but have to tip my hat to that crew for really stepping up and competing. That little Blubaugh lady is fixing to jump big. Good luck.
compete and jump safe, have fun
