Boise State to host 2012 NCAA indoor nationals
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise State will host the 2012 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's National Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The university announced Monday that the March event will be held at the Jackson Track at the Idaho Center in Nampa.
The Idaho Statesman reported Monday that it will be Boise State's first time to host the event. Bronco Stadium played hosted the NCAA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 1994 and 1999.
Holly Sheilley, chair of the Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee, says the Jackson Track has a good reputation and is known for its ability to draw good crowds.
Boise State coach J.W. Hardy says it's an honor to host the championships and he looks forward to seeing Jackson Track showcased on a national stage.

Re: Boise State to host 2012 NCAA DI Indoor Championships
Its about dam time. A place with nice equipment, and an airport that flies in poles is only 20 minutes from the track........not 2.5 hours!!!!! Obviously its hard to beat Fayettville's facility, but boise's equipment (track and runways) is identical, just don't have the same atmosphere. I'm sure they'll beef it up a bit for the meet though, and it will yield quality results.
If someone tries to step on your dreams.... Step on their face.
