Coach Needed! NY Metropolitan Area (Hoboken).

Hey Guys,

My name is Tom and I'm the Sprint and Jumps Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology. Our Vault Coach of 2 years recently moved to Indiana to attend Grad School at Notre Dame, and we have begun the search for a replacement. We seek the help of a vault enthusiast looking for an opportunity to coach with a collegiate team.

A little background info...
Stevens http://www.stevensducks.com/sports/motrack/ is a DIII school located in Hoboken NJ (link to google map below)

We have ~5 vaulters on our team (3men/2women), and ~3 Decathletes. Ability levels range from beginner to 13feet for men and beginner to 11 feet for women.

The position is volunteer, and comes with a year long, 24 hour parking pass for the Stevens campus. The pass is great for anyone living in the metro area, or the Hoboken area, who needs a place to park/store a car.

Our Jumps/Vault practices are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from November to April, at the New Balance Armory in NYC. Vaulters are typically warmed up and ready to jump around 8:00pm and the facility closes at 9:30pm. Majority of our indoor meets, including the ECAC championships, will also be held at the Armory. We can provide transportation from Hoboken to the Armory and/or back if needed.

Our previous coach typically would meet us at the armory every Tuesday and most Thursdays. Any time he had a conflict he would relay the workout to our Vault captain via text message or email. He came to meets when he was able, but did not attend every meet.
