Take the pole vault, for example. Skipper, a junior who captured his second NCAA Indoor title last week with a clearance of 18 feet, 8 3/4 inches, would love to take advantage of his current fitness with a big mark.
"The plan is to open high and try to jump as high as I can," Skipper said. "After that, I go into a rigorous outdoor training session for several weeks to get a good base for the next couple of months. (Today) is probably the freshest I'll be for a while."

its probably running or somthing .. or maybe some lifting in there .. that would be my best guess

Training session difficulty..
A hard training session is one that you can barely stand up after. It's called training to fatigue. His Oregon coaches know all about that. Dan Steel is doing a great job in the training.
