Injections for back give Maher a shot to improve her vaulting

Prolotherapy made Ashley Brown's record-breaking senior season in the hurdles possible last year.




The medical procedure is providing similar benefits for Centennial junior pole vaulter Lindsey Maher, who, like Brown, suffers from persistent back pain caused by a compressed disc.

Maher goes into Thursday's Class B district meet at Seward tied for the best vault in the state this season â€â€
