3-6 weeks on the track doing running drills to perfection, plant drills in place, walking, running, running drills with the pole and without, sand vaults to maximum grip from 2-8 steps for run rhythm(not speed) and plant efficiency.
But that's in addition to all the body weight circuits, running, flexibility, and lightweight lifting you should be doing.
