I raced a 100m w/ a guy after XC practice on our cinder track in HS....my toes were pretty scraped up (but i won) :P

The boys father was a hurdler. The father had contracted a rare form of pancreatic cancer. Since his diagnosis, he has devoted himself to doing "things" for his neighbors. His neighbors in fact were the ones who nominated him for the make over. Back to the track room. It was very cool! The boy who got the room basically idolizes his Dad and that is his motivation towards track. The design team actually found some pictures of the father running the hurdles and blew them up and framed them and hung them in the boys bed (track) room. So there you have it. The whole show in about 10 lines......at least part of the show. It was definitely a feel good show. But then again, all of them are. Later..............Mike
