Lansing, MI saw $2.43/gal prices last weekend. its dropped back to $2.39 right now tho....

36 gallons @ $2.32........$83.52 to fill up. Try that on for size!!! Nothing is in close proximity from each other here in TX.

In the Netherlands we pay:

Super zonder lood 95 oct. 1,28 Euro / Liter

1 gallon = 3.79 liter
1 dollar = 0,78 euro

that means -> 1 gallon = 3,78 us-dollar

and tomorrow we are training 125 miles from home..... :(

ok, so i'm suppost to be looking to buy a car in may......this isn't an uplifting topic...any alternative ideas, i'll be living in San Luis Obispo next year...it's not exactly a walking city or really a bus city i don't think...so you kinda have to have a car....but with gas prices.....what to do...what to doo.... :confused:

Get a Prius. They are still subsidized a little by Toyota, so you are getting much more car that you are paying for. And they are a lot more fun to own and drive that you might think. The only issue is whether you can shuttle poles around on them.

There may still be a government rebate also.

A coworker bought a Honda Civic Hybrid about 9 months ago and with the rebates it was actually $400 cheaper than the regular gas Civic! Gets around 50MPG.

those cars are awesome!! they just make so much more sense. i would get one if i had the money, but in the mean time, i might just have to stop driving my good old mini van cuz i can't afford to fill it up!
