Not too many chances to see elite vaulters in eastern Washington?

I am sure you will get to see some good stuff in the future.

I was the one asked to catch Bubka's step at the Sunkist Invitational in Los Angeles in 1992 when he got the first 6m (19' 8 1/4") on North American soil. Still have the butt plug. My brother has Kjell Issakson's from the first 5.50m at Texas Relays. It was actually 5.51m (18’ 1â€Â

Highest i witnessed in person was the World Championships in 2001 in Edmonton.

Dimitri Markov jumped 6.05m.

My dad and flew to canada to watch the worlds for about a week the summer after i graduated high school. it was a fun trip.

up until that point the highest id seen was somewhere around 17' i think.

the highest ive seen in meet where i was directly competing against the jumper was Norberg's jump that SKOT mentioned(though i did exit the competition a couple of heights before that big jump).

am i really winning right now with 605?
