Best Cross Bars?

Unread postby skyshark177 » Thu Jan 06, 2005 4:57 am

What's your favorite cross bar?

I've seen many different kinds out there.

I particularly like the Spirit cross bars because they're heavy and they're pink color stands out.

One thing about a crossbar that I've been able to figure out, If you don't hit it in the first place, it doesn't come down and do any bodily damage to you. Nice concept don't you think? Easier said that done, right? Later.....Mike

They are. I heard somewhere that their crossbars are made by the same company and they just make them different colors.

So I guess the bar is a little intimidating for most people.

They should change the color of bars. What is the color that is most soothing to humans? I think it's Green. I read that once in a psychology book in College.

I guess College does pay off.

My favorite crossbars are bungees. You can hit the crap out of it and it will go back up. Plus, the don't hurt if you land on them!!

Cross bars

Unread postby ladyvolspvcoach » Fri Jan 07, 2005 11:28 am

When we jumped there weren't any fibreglass cross bars. They were triangular, aluminum and colored black and white. intermittant stripes. There weren't any bungees. In practice you'd jump, straighten out the cross bar put it back up, jump, straigten out the cross bar...............

My fav. cross bar is the spirt...

I like the ones that stand out..makes it easier to see. especially when you always are having to vault when the sun is basically down!!!! !!!

I've seen some red cross bars dont know who it was made by but it would get hit by someones legs and body in the same jump and never would fall off. but oh well.
