cheap pit?

Unread postby laurenmac » Thu Jul 27, 2006 10:48 pm

I'm the first pole vaulter at my school in over 20 years, and my school has no facilities for vaulting. In fact, there is no facility for me to use within 40 miles of where I live. Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced pit and standards? Or is any school planning on getting rid of their old ones? I live near St. Louis, so any place in that area would be excellent.

I think if you search some of my posts (especially from last year and before) you will see what I did to get my pit. It's quite a bit of leg work but it's worth it once you have a pit of your own. I think you can go to the search icon and type in "souleman" and they will come up. Later.......Mike
