River Rat Vault

We are having a pole vault competition in Dixon, il on June 25th for all those interested PM me and I can send you a registration form. Hopefully the goal is for this to be an annual event. It is right in the rock river and if not for this year, I plan on having a raised runway right along the river. For some reason it wouldn't let me post the registration form as an attachment sorry.

Thanks to everyone for a great first annual river rat competition. even though we fought some rain I think everyone had a great time. If anyone has pictures or video they would like to share let me know thanks.......see you next year

Also, I heard you may try to incorporate the event into Dixon's Petunia Festival next year and have the vault away from the high school. Sounds like a good plan.

Yes if it all works out and the city will let us, we will be doing a street vault on the riverwalk in downtown Dixon.

I didn't plan on jumping today, but I am sure glad I did. Makes me want to get some poles that I can actually jump on and be successful. Now if I could only find the time to train a couple days a week I would be happy. Are you going up to Winnebago's vault festival next Saturday?
