Go to www.advancedathletictraining.com  and look at PV photo sequence and there are pictures of Jim Davis doing 18' from 5 lefts and 15'6 from 3 lefts.  I'm sure the 18 is a 10 step PR but the 15'6 is just a workout bar from 6 steps.    www.peakperformancesports.org   will take you there also.

8 steps=16'5 on a 14'7 god knows what
10 steps=17'4 on a 4.9 16.2
12 steps=17'10.5 on a 5m 14.8
14 steps=18'0 on a 5m 14.0
16 steps=18'1.75 on a 4.9 14.0
18 steps=16'9 on a 4.9 16.7 (High school)
8, 10, and 12 were practice jumps with a bar. 14, 16, and 18 were all in meets.
