I won my conference meet! I jumped 10'10" for a season PR, NAIA Auto qualifier, outdoor school record, and facility record (well OK it was basically the first meet there). I am especially proud of myself because it was drizzly, cold, crappy weather. Wait, that's like every meet I ever had in high school. Guess being from Seattle has its advantages

My teammate Jayne didn't have a good day. She was jumping well, but when the bar went to 10'4", her grip got too wet and she slipped off... twice! We retaped it and all but it didn't work

Forget what the metric converts to, the height progression for the guys was 13-0, 13-6, 14-0, 14-6, 15-0, 15-5 (NAIA Auto Qualifier), 16-0, 16-4.75 (5.00m).
Mark ended up having the meet of his life and pulling out the victory!
Graham and E had pole issues and ended up no heighting. Rabbitt tied his PR and jumped 13-6. John hurt his ankle in our rainy meet from hell last week, but he cowboyed up to jump 14-6.
Stu had the perfect meet. He came in at 13-6 and cleared through 15-5 on his first try. Mark came in at 14-0 and took 3 tries to clear. It took him 2 tries to clear 14-6. At that point only our guys were left, so Mark passed 15-0. At 15-0, Stu cleared on his first try, while John took 2 tries then passed to 15-5.
Stu and Mark both cleared 15-5. This was close to Stu's PR, and tied Mark's PR. It was also an outdoor PR for Mark, and gave him an outdoor auto qualifier (his previous season best was 15-1).
They had the bar raised to 16-0. Both were extremely close on their first attempts. Mark cleared on his second attempt for the HUGE PR and conference title. He then had the bar raised to 5 meters. He had a couple inches on it on his first try, but came down on it. His second two attempts were more like blow throughs, but a conference title and 7" PR in crappy weather is not a bad way to end the day!
Our guys team won the conference title by around 100 points. Our women's team lost by about 20. This was very disappointing because we definitely had the better team. We had people held out of the meet, injuries, etc. Oh well, we could always make up for it by winning Nationals
