Jacquon Pegues jumped his age, 14' at 14 yrs old.

Jacquon Pegues of Cheraw HS, Cheraw, SC achieved the rarity of jumping his age, 14' at 14 yrs old, during a USATF meet at Wando HS in Mt Pleasant, SC.

Jacquon, a freshman, also won the AA state meet at 13' 6".

very impressive, lol im working on a foot under my age and its tough enough!! At what age do you think its most common to be able to jump your height, if at any age?? Id say at 14-15.

id say 13-14.... but the more i think about it not many people do it

yeah that is great for him I can see 13 and 13' but not to much more than that

oh yea forgot about that low, i bet a 3 year old could clear 3 if hes 3 feet tall.

I think that we see this happening more and more as the years go by, i think mainly because interest in the event is increasing.

Nitro for example:
14'6'' at 14 yrs
15'10'' at 15 yrs

And I jumped 16'6'' last year when i was 16 yrs.

And Scott Roth is still jumping his age, Spencer McCorkel 1 over his age. Jordan Scott jumped his age last year, dont know when he turns 18. Many others, still it is pretty fun to say that you jumped your age!

id love to say i jumped my age, its a pretty elite little club. Id say my last real shot will be at it next year when im 16.

Jaquon is the third guy from SC to do it in recent years. Mitch Greeley jumped 15' at 15 yrs old. And Chase Shealy jumped 15' 1" at 15 yrs, 16' 7" at 16 yrs and 17' 1" at 17 yrs.


I think the all-time world best is probably Jacob Davis from Texas. Achtung and some others probably have his exact numbers. If I recall correctly he jumped his age plus about two feet. :yes:
